The Sigma DP1 is a fixed-lens compact camera featuring a 28mm F4 equivalent lens and a full APS-C sized Foveon X3 sensor — the first compact camera to use such a large sensor. It delivers rich detail and true color rendering characteristic of the Foveon three-layer capture technology. The DP1 launched Sigma's DP compact series.
