On the back panel, ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING offers two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports (Type-A and Type-C), four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a USB BIOS Flashback button. The ATX Intel X299 board takes Socket 2066 Core X-Series processors with eight DDR4 slots up to 256GB, and includes Intel I219V Gigabit LAN, two M.2 sockets, eight SATA ports and a Wi-Fi GO! module.
