Xcode is Apple's integrated development environment (IDE) for macOS used to build apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. It includes the Swift and Objective-C compilers, Interface Builder for UI design, Instruments for performance profiling, and a simulator for testing on all Apple platforms. Xcode is free and available on the Mac App Store.
